REPORTING AN INCIDENT:

If you would like to contact UPIA to report a sighting or paranormal event, please adhere to the following guidelines to ease and assist our investigations. Report forms are available on request although in some reported events you may be asked to complete some of these documents. Contact details are available on the contact page.

HAUNTING PHENOMENA:

The most commonly reported paranormal occurrence’s reported are those of haunting phenomena. Witnesses from all ages and backgrounds claim to see ghost like apparitions or have feelings associated to the phenomena, these are the basic steps:

1. Attempt to video record or photograph the occurrence if possible.

2. Note the exact Time and Date.

3. Note the Weather Conditions.

4. Bring another persons attention to it, if possible.

5. Note the duration of the sighting.

6. Try to write down everything witnessed during the sighting.

7. Keep recording devices handy in case of a second occurrence, for a few days.

8. Make a sketch if possible.

9. Note any sound or absence of it.

10. Note anything else unusual, smells, mists or anything unusual to the norm.

11. note any appearances, disappearances or possible objects that may have been moved.

12. If the phenomena occurs regularly, attempt to keep a diary of events

13.Report it as soon as possible to a local group or organisation.

AERIAL PHENOMENA:

Thousands of people throughout the world have witnessed aerial objects in the sky, flying, hovering, performing almost impossible feats of flight and direction, and speed. But most people do not know what to do if they witness this or any other similar phenomena. In circumstances like these there is a check list with ten basic rules :

1. Attempt to video record or photograph the object as soon as possible.

2. Note the Time and Date.

3. Note the Weather Conditions and if any other aerial objects are visible.

4. Bring another persons attention to it, if possible.

5. Note the duration of the sighting and direction, speed etc.

6. Report it as soon as possible to a local UFO group or organisation.

7. Keep recording devices handy in case of a second sighting, for a few days.

8. Make a sketch if possible.

9. Note any sound or absence of it.

10. Note anything else unusual.

It is then usual for the group or organisation you report your sighting to, to conduct a thorough investigation, if the case warrents one, they will contact numerous officialdoms and groups for collaberation of evidence. But remember that if you decide to remain anonymous, make sure to declare this to the investigator(s) who are dealing with your case, most organisations will have a code of confidentiallity and your details will remain classified, but beware, not all investigators have been known to adhere to this clause.
