THE CHINGLE HALL SCREAM

RECENT INTEREST FROM WEBSITE VISITORS AND UPIA MEMBERS HAVE ASKED FOR THE AUDIO RECORDING OF THE FAMOUS CHINGLE HALL SCREAM TO APPEAR ON THE SITE.

In the summer of 1996, a now well known and heard recording was made. Four people were spending the night at Chingle Hall, upon having only minor activity throughout the event, they decided to pack up their equipment, at around 0530hrs the two girls upstairs were scared rigid by a scream, vocals occur just before, followed by an electronic like scream, one which is quite shocking when heard, thereafter followed the girls screaming.

Their partners below ran to them to assist, and upon evaluating the noise, when calmer, they all suggested the scream came from their room, also the owner of the hall, woke up and alarmed came to check what was up, she also claimed the scream was in her bedroom, this is quite peculiar, each individual at the location, heard the scream and thought it was in the very room that they themselves were.
