The UPIA were contacted by students from Edge Hill University, Liverpool, in September 2006 concerning the possibility of assisting in their media studies course and the production of a 4 minute documentary regarding the UPIA and our investigations.
The students visited in our October meeting and soon began their process of recording footage, 3 venues were decided upon as interesting recording sites, as well as UPIA monthly meetings and personal interviews with members of the team.
In total 24hrs plus of footage was recorded, involving most of the UPIA, the Robin Hood Inn, Buglwton, the Bridestones neolithic burial chamber near Congleton, and a south Cheshire church.
Final recordings were filmed at our on site investigation at the Robin hood in April, and the process of editting the final 4 minute documentary was completed.
This remarkable documentary, incomparable to any before seen Paranormal documentary was shown at UPIA's June meeting, to raptuous applause. In the near future this docoumentary will appear on the UPIA website.
The documentary as part of the students course is now also in the hands of Channel 4, the competition the students have entered means at some point in the future this will be shown on terrestial TV.
